Occupational mobility at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic: Limited impacts on individual employment trajectories

Abstract

"We analyse occupational mobility during the early phase of the Covid-19 pandemic and how individual employment biographies are affected by a change in occupation. To allow for a better interpretation of the results, we compare individuals who change their occupation in 2020 during the pandemic, and therefore under unfavourable conditions, with a corresponding group of individuals in the year 2019."
