Abstract

"This research report addresses how work changed between 2013 and 2021, i.e. the period before and during the coronavirus pandemic. The focus is on the employee perspective and a mixed picture presents itself. There is a compression of work and a slight decline in commitment, engagement and job satisfaction. However, these measures of job quality are still at a high level, compatibility conflicts due to disruptions of private life by work have decreased despite the compression tendencies, and the turnover intention remains low."
