IAB forecast 2022: Economic upswing slowed down

Abstract

"Labor market development in Germany remained comparatively robust even after the second Corona winter. The assessment of the further economic development is dominated by Russia's attack on Ukraine. The brief report provides an outlook for the economy and labor market activity in 2022, assuming that the Ukraine war does not lead to an even broader escalation, but that it will not end quickly either."
