School leavers from special need schools: Difficult transition to vocational training and employment

Abstract

"This report investigates the school-to-work transition from students who leave a special need school. We find that students from special need schools with a degree transit better than students who left the special need school without a degree. However, also school leavers from a special need school with a degree are less often in vocational training and employment than students who graduated from a regular school."
