Financing further training. Statement of the IAB on the hearing in the meeting of Project Group 7 of the Study Commission Vocational Training of the German Bundestag on 23 November 2020

Abstract

"During the hearing on 23 November 2020 in the meeting of Project Group 7 ”Financing Vocational and Further Training” of the Study Commission on Vocational Training of the German Bundestag, the IAB issued its statement on the key questions of the parliamentary groups (CDU, SPD, AfD, The Left Party and Alliance 90/The Greens). In answer to these key questions on ”Financing Further Training”, the IAB refers to the following aspects: digitalising further training, participation in further training, the impact of further training (impact evaluation, the impact of funded further training: unemployed/employed workers), institutional frameworks, entitlement to further training, funding instruments for financing further training."
