Economic change, personnel policy and vocational training in the Corona crisis. IAB Statement on the hearing at the German Council of Economic Experts on October 8, 2020

Abstract

"In preparation for the Annual Report 2020/2021 of the German Council of Economic Experts, the IAB was asked to provide its expertise on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on education and training, on the economic and employment structure as well as on the need for action to prevent possible hysteresis effects and on changes in firms’ personnel policy.
