Survey on short-time work benefits in times of Covid-19: A higher wage replacement rate is considered appropriate for low-wage workers

Abstract

"This IAB Brief Report investigates which level of short-time work benefits respondents of an online survey – mostly employees – consider appropriate for hypothetical workers in different situations. The respondents would grant higher wage replacements rates to low-wage workers and to those with higher costs of living.
