BMAS-Prognose „Digitalisierte Arbeitswelt nach Arbeitsmarktregionen“
Abstract
"The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has comissioned the "Entwicklung eines Analyseinstruments zur Prognose von Fachkräfteangebot und -nachfrage in Deutschland (Fachkräftemonitoring)". Building on the results of the BMAS forecast "Digitalisierte Arbeitswelt", this report presents and discusses the results differentiated by 34 labour market regions. The results show that, with the exception of the labour market region of Berlin, a distinction can be made between the North-Eastern and the South-Western labour market regions. While the North-Eastern labour market regions have to reckon with partly high declines in the local labour supply, the South-Western regions can expect further growth. As far as the demand for labour is concerned, it can be stated that the manufacturing sector is characterised by a loss of share in the labour force everywhere. With the exception of Berlin the particular strong losses in the share of the manufacturing sector in East Germany are characterised by strong contractions in the construction Industry. The health and social services sector is gaining shares in the number of employed persons in every region." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
