Abstract

For the cooperation project among BMAS, BA, IAB and DIW Berlin, the IAB-SOEP migration sample will be increased in order to generate an adequate number of persons who came to Germany via the Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz. This will enable us to monitor the labor market effects of the new immigration law. Extensions of the migration sample questionnaires will be developed , the sample will be defined and drawn from the AZR, the data will be prepared by the SOEP at DIW Berlin and will be evaluated and reported to the BMAS and BA by IAB.
