Abstract
Inclusion of children with special needs is a general social aim. Nevertheless, little is known about the effect of inclusive education on the labour market opportunities of children with special needs. Using NEPS data it is possible to compare the labour market outcomes of adolescents with similar ability who attended a regular school with those who attended a school for children with special needs. To solve endogeneity problems which occur with the choice of the type of school we can use the regional availability of schools with special needs.
