Abstract

The project analyses the effects of ALMPs on the job quality for welfare recipients in Germany. Many studies evaluate the effects of ALMPs on various labour market outcomes such as the take-up of regular jobs, but these studies mostly do not consider the job quality. Using an inflow sample of unemployed welfare recipients and a matching approach, I analyse the effects of various active labour market programmes. I measure the job quality by various dimensions, e.g. job stability, type of job or occupational tasks.
