Abstract
Establishment surveys at the IAB are often still conducted by mail, phone or face-to-face. While these modes are often very expensive, online surveys are usually
- cheaper
- allow complex filter questions and routing
- can include soft checks and live data controlling
-collection of paradata
In this project, we analyze chances and risks of online establishment surveys with a special focus on measurement error and nonresponse as well as the response process within the participating establishments.
