Abstract

More school graduates begin to study in order to improve their future employment perspectives. However, the share of drop outs are high. These drop outs should begin an apprenticeship training, which is an important pillar in the German labour market. The employment perspectives and careers after graduating an apprenticeship training are empirically analyzed.
