Abstract

The third socioeconomic reporting has started with a new research collaboration at the beginning of autumn 2013. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and is supported by the project management agency DLR, a part of the German Aerospace Center. The reseach colllaboration is organized in five reporting sections with seperated managment. In total there are 18 work packages. The sociological research instiute Göttingen (SOFI) is responsible for the general management of the project. The SOFI is supported by the supervisors of the reporting sections, the university of Bielefeld and collaborted research data centres. A scientific advisory council will set up in 2014. The research collaboration use a virtual working environment (VFU) to share text and data files, to communicate with different applications tools or services in one working platform. The application was developed at SOFI and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and supported by the project management agency DLR. The virtual working environment supports the communication between the researchers from different locations.
