Abstract

The project analyzes the occurence of European youth unemployment since the year 2000 and its determinants with special reconsideration of the great recession. Employing European Labour Force Survey data (LFS) empirical models are estimated inclucing both micro and macro level variables. Furtheron alternative measurements of youth unemployment are tested.
