Abstract

The D21 Digital Index is Germany's most important status report on the digitalization of society. It shows how deeply the digital transformation is penetrating various areas of life and how well citizens can cope with the demands of change . However, there has been a lack of gender-specific evaluations for Germany to date. Data from the D21 Digital Index 2024 can be used to show the extent to which there is a digital gender gap - particularly from a labor market perspective - using gender-specific evaluations.
