Abstract

The design guidelines are intended to create a common framework for IAB regional publications, ensuring a consistent appearance and thus recognition of the regional research network. The application of the listed rules regarding layout, typography, and graphic design guarantees compliance with formal standards for scientific work, clear structuring, and optimal readability. In addition to visual appeal and recognition, compliance with the specified formats and rules is also a mandatory prerequisite for accessibility, which also enables people with physical or technical disabilities to access information. The revision and update should incorporate technical changes and innovations in the accessibility of publications.
