Abstract

This project uses the Shiny R package to create a dashboard-based data access application form to be hosted in the infrastructure of the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The main objectives are to enhance user experience and accessibility for data applicants as well as to streamline the internal processing of data applications.Specifically, we will develop a Shiny dashboard that dynamically provides data applicants with suitable options for their data choices. Additionally, the dashboard will offer helpful information and prompts directly within the application form. A key focus is ensuring that visually impaired data applicants can easily use the application form with the help of screen readers.Moreover, the project aims to improve the internal processing of data access applications by collecting and processing application information.Key milestones for the project include the development of a multilingual Shiny dashboard supporting both German and English. We will also address security and infrastructure requirements to ensure a smooth deployment within the infrastructure of the BA.
