Abstract

Individual creativity may be measured at the individual level by means of person's ability and personell characteristics. Unfortunately, this data is only available at the micro level and cannot be aggregated at the regional level easily. However, the regional potential of creativity is relevant for future economic growth and development. Therefore, this project aims to develop a method which allows to construct a measure of regional creativity using the current regional distribution of employees with respect to their occupations.
