Abstract

The nationality variable of the BeH (Beschäftigtenhistorik des IAB) shows a considerable number of missings and implausible entries (e.g. back-and forth-changes). We will Conduct an extensive Analysis of the Quality of the variable, both in the cross section and time Dimension and exploit the Information obtained from this Analysis in order to develop algorithms for the imputation of missing values and correction of implausible values.
