Abstract
The labor market integration of refugees is of great importance both for labor market policy and social policy. Firms play a crucial role in recruiting refugees. Evidence indicates that, from the perspective of firms, hiring refugees is associated with uncertainty regarding their legal status, skills, and qualifications. In this project, we will combine survey data, administrative data, and experimental interventions to better understand the barriers preventing firms from hiring refugees and what can be done to alleviate those barriers.
