Abstract

In Germany, integrations into employment from basic income support has been declining in recent years. However, it is unclear what role the frequency of contact plays in this, even though case workers at job centers play a central role. We therefore examine whether an increased frequency of contact is associated with more integrations into (sustainable) employment from basic income support.
