Integrity and diligence are the top principles of good scientific work. Moreover, only research based on these principles and which is independent of interests, influence and power relationships can be the basis for reliable counselling.
IAB creates the necessary prerequisites so that the principles of good academic practice are observed in everyday research work. In the document "Erklärung zur Sicherung der guten wissenschaftlichen Praxis" (Explanation on the safeguarding of good scientific practice) (PDF, not freely accessible) IAB describes these principles, which are mandatory for all researchers at the institute.
