1st LISER-IAB Conference on Digital Transformation and the Future of Work

The Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) and the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) are pleased to announce the 1st LISER-IAB Conference on Digital Transformation and the Future of Work. The objective of the conference is to bring together researchers in social sciences to discuss their more recent research related to digital transformation and the future of work. Researchers interested in presenting at the LISER-IAB conference are invited to submit theoretical, empirical and experimental contributions.

Topics of interest: The conference focuses on the consequences of digitalization on Working tasks, Skills, Wages, Motivation, Performance, Health, Well-being, Work-life balance, Work-place organization, Job design, Workforce structures, Performance, Functional areas, Shifts in labor demand and supply, Gig economy, Crowd working, Online labor markets, Employee mobility, Work-family decisions, Education and training systems.

Please submit your paper or an extended abstract (2-4 pages) in PDF no later than 31 October 2019 to liser-iab-conference@liser.lu. Submissions by PhD students are particularly encouraged.

All submissions will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee. Authors will be informed upon acceptance by 20 December 2019.

Registration

The conference fee will be EUR 90 (for PhD students EUR 50). The fee will cover conference material, coffee, lunch breaks, and dinner.
