Dr Anna-Marie Ortloff earned her Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Media Informatics and Spanish (B.A.) in 2018 and her Master's degree in Media Informatics (M.Sc.) in 2020, both at the University of Regensburg.
From 2021 to 2026, she was a research associate in the Behavioral Security workgroup at the University of Bonn. She defended her doctoral thesis on "Investigating Research Practice and Methods in Usable Security and Privacy" in December 2025.
As of June 2026, she has been working as an IT expert in the service department "Data and IT Management".
