Professional background
Britta Hecker studied Economics (B.Sc.) and Quantitative Economics (M.Sc.) at Kiel University. During her bachelor studies she worked as a student assistant at Kiel University and during her Masters as a research assistant at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
Since October 2022, she has been a scholarship holder of the GradAB graduate program of the IAB and a junior researcher in the department “Education, Training, and Employment over the Life Course” within the project “National Educational Panel Study (NEPS): Adult Education and Lifelong Learning“.
Her research interests include education, migration and labour economics.
