Professional background

Manfred Banas studied physics and German literature and language from 1981 to 1989 at the Georg August University in Göttingen. In 1996 he sat his examination as a commercial manager in the book trade. From 2000 to 2002 he re-trained as a computer scientist/applications developer at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Nuremberg. Mr Banas has been on the technical staff of the IT Services and Information Management (ITM) since 2009.
