Professional background
Felix Stips has been a researcher at the IAB since December 2023.
He studied economics, specializing in development economics, at the universities of Bayreuth, Göttingen, and Stellenbosch. In December 2024, he completed his doctorate in labor and migration economics at the Luxembourg Institute for Socio-Economic Research (LISER). Previously, he worked as a project staff member in the field of development cooperation at the Center for Evaluation (CEval).
His research interests lie in the areas of international migration and labour economics. He is particularly interested in the economic impacts of migration on hosting countries.
