Leo Kaas has been Professor of Macroeconomics and Labour Markets at Goethe University Frankfurt since 2018. Previously, he was a professor at the University of Konstanz and an assistant professor at IHS Vienna and the University of Vienna. He obtained his PhD from Bielefeld University in 1998 and spent a postdoctoral year at UCLA.
His current research focuses on matching processes, labour market flows, firm dynamics and life-cycle employment histories.
