Till von Wachter is Professor of Economics at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Faculty Director of the California Policy Lab’s UCLA site, Associate Dean for Research for the Social Science Division at UCLA, and Director of the California Census Research Data Center.
His research interests cover Labor Economics, Economics of Aging and Macroeconomics. Previous research issues include, for example: the effects of unemployment insurance and the long-term effects of job losses and displacements.
Till von Wachter has published the results of his research in the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Journal of Labor Economics, and the Review of Economics and Statistics, among other journals.
