The European Labour Market Barometer continues to stagnate at 99.7 points in July. The leading indicator of the European Network of Public Employment Services and the IAB shows increases and decreases in an almost equal number of countries. "There are ups and downs in the countries, but overall, the European labour market is not budging," explains Enzo Weber, IAB head of forecast. The unemployment component rose in small steps for the third consecutive month in July. After an increase of 0.2 points, it stands at 99.3 points. The employment component fell by 0.3 points to the neutral mark of 100 points.
