GradAB Participants 2018Welcome to the Graduate Programme (GradAB)

The joint Graduate Programme of the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and the School of Business and Economics of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) supports promising doctoral students in the field of labour market and occupational research. The programme prepares young researchers for a career in academic research and policy advice.

Each year, up to six scholarship holders are accepted into the programme. You can find information on the application process and requirements here.

Doctoral students can participate in international classes given by renowned researchers in addition to the regular study programme  in order to deepen their theoretical, methodological and empirical skills.

Our scholarship holders also benefit from a large network with the scientific community. Further individual support is provided by experienced mentors working at the IAB.
